Course of Studies

  1. Check you fulfill all the Entry Requirements for a Martial Arts Grand Master Degree.
  2. Submit the application forms with all required documents and pay the ‘Entry Standards examination fee’.
  3. If application is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email, and you will be entitled to begin the program and pay the ‘Written Assignments Fee‘ and submit the assignments.
  4. After receiving final passing score for all assignments and, a written confirmation to continue the program, you can pay the ‘Theoretical and Practical Examination Fee‘, and coordinate a date for examination (can be done online).
  5. After passing the theoretical and practical examination and receiving a written confirmation to continue the program, you can pay the ‘Teaching Expertise Evaluation Fee‘, and coordinate a date for examination (can be done online).
  6. After passing the teaching expertise examination, and receiving a written confirmation for your success, you can pay the final ‘Certificate Production Fee’.
  7. Certificate will be processed and delivered.

Entry Requirements for a Martial Arts Grand Master Degree

  • Age 40
  • 7th Dan or equivalent from a recognized organization
  • Fulfil all IMAO criteria for 7th Dan or above
  • Submitting all his Dan certificates from the 1st to current rank
  • Minimal three consecutive Dan grades in the same martial art style
  • Two last Dan ranks must be from the same style
  • Submitting a detailed C.V.

One exception from the above is permitted, excluding the red criteria.

Guide Lines for preparing and printing the Written Assignments

  • Written Assignments can be submitted in English, or Hebrew.
  • All Written Assignments should be send in an ‘Open Word document’ format.
  • ‘Ariel‘ or ‘Times New Roman‘ fonts only.
  • Font size – 12.
  • Double Space between the lines.
  • Written Assignments:
  • Should not accede the maximal aloud word number.
  • Should be logical, clear and in academic standards.
  • Each assignment will be examined, if corrections or clarifications will be required, they will be emailed to the applicant, and the applicant should comply in no later than 21 days from the day the requirement was given.
  • The applicant can coordinate a 20 minuets Skype conversation for clarifications.
  • The applicant should re-submit the assignment with the proper amendments. If still, the assignment is not up to the required standards, the applicant will receive a comment paper from the assessor, and will be required if he wish to re-submit, to pay additional 400 NIS special re-evaluation handling fee.

Written Assignments for the Martial Arts Grand Master Degree

No more than 500 words per Assignment.

1. Describe shortly your martial art origins, history, principles and guide lines. Why did you choose to delve into this specific style? Elaborate on your experience in it.

2. What are the technical, philosophical or other characteristics your martial art style behold, which appreciated by you, and why?

3. Does your style targeted for specific audience? Explain.

4. What is your definition to the term ‘Martial Arts Grand Master’, and why do you think you are entitled to this rank.

5. Do you think that martial arts Masters and Grand-Masters hold some kind of educational responsibilities? If so please elaborate and justify your claims. Specify the difference between the two if you find any.

6. How did you use your position in the martial arts in the last years to contribute to your community or society in large?
